Super Facialist Anti-Blemish Skincare Review

For most of 2017, I struggled as my skin started to change and all of a sudden I was experiencing blemishes, mainly across my forehead. I definitely had to come to the realisation that as I am getting older my skin is definitely changing and that I would have to change my skincare routine. I decided at the beginning of this year to build a new skincare routine by trying new products and the first being by Super Facialist.

As a teenager, I experienced acne and it was quite severe, all over my cheeks. I eventually found that less was more and found that by keeping my skincare routine simply I was able to clear my acne and all the dark marks that it caused. I continued to use the routine until I had Ky and again my skin changed from all the hormones caused by pregnancy. Since then I have struggled to find what works well.

What is Super Facialist?

A skincare range that combines natural extracts, scientific ingredients and wonderful aromas. They have 6 collections that can address specific skin concerns and needs.

The collections are as follows:

Rose – For Hydration

Vitamin C – For Radiance Boosting/ Brightening

Retinol – For Anti-Ageing

Pure – For Sensitive Skin

Hyaluronic Acid – For Firming

Salicylic Acid – For Anti Blemish

My thoughts on the Salicylic Acid Range

The Anti Blemish range is meant to deliver solutions to combat skin breakouts and oiliness. Without the harshness that some anti-blemish products can cause. The products in the range contain both Salicylic Acid and Niacin (Vitamin B3) which can help give you a clearer and healthier complexion. They are also SLES and Paraben free.

The products in this range are:

Purifying Cleansing Wash  RRP £7.99

Purify and Refresh Facial Scrub RRP £8.99

Pore Purifying Clay Mask RRP £9.99

Anti Blemish Clear and Correct Serum RRP £16.99

For the last 6 weeks I have been using both the Purifying Cleansing Wash and Pore Purifying Clay Mask. I have say that I absolutely love both products. My skin is smoother and my breakouts have somewhat diminished. The smell of both of these products are lovely especially the Cleansing Wash which is infused with Elderflower. My oiliness is also not as bad which is great because prior to using these products it looked like I had gone overboard with the moisturiser within a few hours of washing my face! Also I do notice a tingling sensation when I first apply the Clay mask but within a couple minutes as it starts to dry, the sensation disappears. I also like that the clay mask is easy to rinse off. And it doesn’t leave any residue like many other face masks I have tried before.

I would definitely recommend these products to anyone who is struggling with getting their blemishes under control and also if you suffer from really oily skin.

Over the coming months I will be trying and reviewing other Super Facialist’s products from the Vitamin C, Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid collections.

Have you tried any products from Super Facialist’s collections? If so how did you find them?
